Arena Badminton Team

For the first time, Arena players will feature in the prestigious Malaysian Schools Badminton Championship Meet. The 2009 edition of the tournament is scheduled on the 16th March 2009 to 20th March 2009 in Perlis, Malaysia. The current Selangor under 15 champion, Kunaal Dev and under 12 Selangor Schools Champion Muhd Lokman made the team comprising of the best Selangor has got to offer. The team is also made of the Bukit Jalil Malaysian Sports School players representative from Selangor.

Arena Badminton Team Chief Coach, M. Jivananthan Nair has this to say on this achievement:

“This is obviously an improvement in term of our players’ recognition, but this has also provided us with the challenge to excel even further in future. We are not going to sit and enjoy this success for long, in fact preparation for to elevate our performance to perform at higher stage is already underway.”
