Arena Badminton Team

Arena Kundang Development program in SRJK (c) Kundang had its first taste of success through the performances of its junior chargers in the just concluded Sri Damansara Open Badminton Championship. 12 year old Kevin Khoo reached his first finals in the boys under 12 singles event. Kevin lost the nail bitting finals to Choo Yau Chun of SRJK (c) Desa Jaya, a development associate of Arena Badminton Team with the score of 19-21, 21-19,23-25. Arena Badminton Chief Coach, M.Jivananthan Nair said this is a good start to more result oriented performance from the development centre in near future. Kevin is also being watched closely as a potential to join the Arena Badminton Team High Performance Squad next year.
